The McNeal House was completed during the Civil War around 1861 by Ezekial Polk McNeal who was a cousin of US president James K. Polk. It was filed on the National Register of Historic places in 1979 as “the finest Italianate house in West Tennessee and among the most outstanding in the state.” Located in Bolivar, Tennessee, even at almost 160 years old, this property still maintains its beauty!
