The Mallory-Neely House in Memphis, Tennessee is breathtaking! Built in 1852 by Isaac and Lucy Kirtland, it’s a beautiful example of an Italianate Victorian. In the 1880s and 1890s the house was renovated and went from 2 and 1/2 stories to a full 3 story with tower. The last resident of this mansion was Mrs Daisy Neely-Mallory (Miss Daisy), who died at the age of 98, had moved in when she was just a child. She deeded the house to the Daughters, Sons, and Children of the American Revolution and it has been a museum since 1987. It constributes to the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Victorian Village District that was once called Millionaireโs Row.
