Historic Victorian Nashville Home

This is the John Wesley Work III home in Nashville, Tennessee. Circa 1899, this Victorian house was home to one of Nashville’s greatest African-American teachers and composers. John Wesley Work III directed the Fisk University Jubilee Singers and composed more than 100 songs and was the writer of one of my favorites – “Go Tell It On The Mountain”. This house reminds me of Charlie Brown!
