The Church House in Columbia, Tennessee was built in 1873 by Maury County Sheriff Latta. Robert Church, a banker and land speculator, bought it in 1885. It’s a good example of Second Empire architecture. You can tell it probably used to have a slate mansard roof, but must have been replaced in recent years. This home as been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978. I love the detailed arches above the windows!
