Have you ever heard of the St. Elmo Historic District in Chattanooga, Tennessee? It’s the largest historic district in Tennessee with a total of 752 structures contributing. This home was built in the 1890s to very early 1900s. St. Elmo was first known as Cross Roads and began in 1879. The name St. Elmo derived from the title of the novel St. Elmo by August Evans Wilson. It’s a beautiful community located in a valley adjacent Lookout Mountain.
