This is one of the most gorgeous buildings in Savannah, I think. The Savannah Cotton Exchange was built in 1886 and was one of the first major buildings to be constructed over a public street. It was built during a time when Savannah was ranked first as a cotton seaport on the Atlanic and second in the world. Today’s it serves as Solomon’s Masonic Lodge which has it’s own history dating back to 1734.
