McNeal House in Bolivar

The McNeal House in Bolivar was built in 1856. I featured this one well over a year ago, but I was in the area again recently and they had completed renovations so I had to get better pictures. Major Ezekiel Polk McNeal was a cousin of president James K. Polk and he had this home built for he and his wife after their only child had died. The use of filagreed cast iron porches is rare in Tennessee! How gorgeous is that staircase?!
