Jonesborough’s Jacobs House

The Jacobs House in Jonesborough was built in 1831 by John Joseph Jacobs. Thomas Emmerson also lived here for many years. He was a mayor of Knoxville and a member of the Tennessee State Supreme Court. This home sits on a hill and can be seen from many angles in the town. Reminds me of several that I admired in Savannah!
