Let me introduce you to the little town of Lynnville, Tennessee. Settled in 1809. Population 310. But more specifically to the Soda Pop Junction. This small town burger and milkshake joint calls a historic 1860 building its home. It was built right around the railroad boom. Just steps from the front door are the tracks and even a railroad museum complete with a 1927 steam engine. I’m not sure anything makes my history-loving heart happier than eating a big ole burger inside a 162 year-old building!
The burger? It was what I call a “dirty burger”. You know the ones. You’ll need a napkin, or twenty, handy when you eat it. So good! We gave chef John our compliments on the way out! I didn’t get her picture, but Katelyn was our waitress and she was fantastic, too!
Lynnville is about an hour south of Nashville and if you’re ever in the area and need a bite to eat, grab a hamburger (or a milkshake!) in this 162 year-old building!
