This Knoxville mansion is the Hellner-Henry House. It was built in 1893 for John C. Hellner and his family. It was one of the earliest built in this area. It later belonged to the Henry family and was eventually divided into apartments before becoming vacant for several years.
Homes like these are always miracles to me. When they become vacant and sit in disrepair, they end up on the fence of either complete demolition or restoration. I love that this beautiful place was saved and remains a staple in Knoxville history today!
