Kingstone Lisle in Rugby, TN

This house is known as Kingstone Lisle. It was built in 1884 for Rugby’s founder, Thomas Hughes. It was named for a community in Hughes’s native Berkshire, England. From what I’ve read, Hughes only lived here for a short time and this home was mostly used for the church’s rectory. It’s now a stop on the guided tour, so be sure to check it out if you visit little Rugby, Tennessee!
