Historic McKenzie, TN Home

I’ve got a restoration story for you today! (And another trip gabe) Along with more historical photos! โœจ

This old home in McKenzie was built somewhere between the 1870s and 1880s. This was another home to the early 20th century photographer, Edna Stephenson, that I posted about a couple weeks ago.

Over time, it has been changed to do away with much of its Victorian details as you can see from these pictures. Hard to believe it’s the same home. I’m excited to say that the nephew of the owners of this home is now renovating it to bring it back to what it used to be! He’s already done quite a bit of work and has a lot more to go, but it’s exciting to see this old place being loved on.
