An iconic house in Normandy, Tennessee is this red-roofed charmer right here. It has sat on the railroad line since the 1860s. L. T. Throneberry had it built and then after marrying his sweetheart, Atlanta Wilson, they both settled here.
It its early days, it was also used as a boarding house for those who came in on the train and needed a place to lay their head for the night.
It was later left to a grandson, Jimmy Lee Russell, who was a merchant in Normandy for 41 years.
