Let’s take it on back to Birmingham today. Check out this super eclectic house in the Rhodes Park neighborhood. Built in 1903, it was designed by architect William Chaffee who designed a couple neighboring houses as well. It’s so unique!
The homes in this historic district were built between 1880 and 1930. They range from large Victorians to modest Tudors and bungalows. During the 30s and 40s, the Depression has forced several residences to be converted to apartments, but over the last few decades there has been a move to convert them back to private homes again.
