How about a red Queen Anne to wake you up on this Monday mornin’! I am probably the gazillionth person to capture this home, but I was happy to do so nonetheless.
This is the Beath-Dickey House in Atlanta, Georgia (which might be my first Atlanta feature!) and it was built in 1890. It’s located in Inman Park which is Atlanta’s first suburb that kicked off in the late 1880s. It was also Atlanta’s first electric trolley neighborhood.
This home was built by John M. Beath, who was the owner of the Georgia Ice Company. It was later owned by John R. Dickey in the early 1900s. The neighborhood was revilatized in 1969 and that can be attributed in part due to this gorgeous home.
