“Wincoma” in Midway, Kentucky

Ok I’ve shared this frilly little lady before, but here I am again because, well, look at her! I mean, what.

She’s located in the tiny railroad town of Midway, Kentucky which is worth the drive if you’re ever closeby. So many beautiful old homes there.

This house is known as “Wincoma”. It even has the name hanging over the doorway. It was built for a Dr. Marcus Poynter, who was a local physician. It was built by local craftsman David Lehman in 1871. Since 1924, four judges have called Wincoma home. Itโ€™s been called โ€œthe finest board-and-batten house in central Kentuckyโ€ and I can see why!

You can find all the other homes I’ve featured in Midway, Kentucky here.
