I was absolutely taken with this home in Bluffton, South Carolina. Sunsets around this beauty are divine.
It’s known as the Fripp-Lowden House and was contructed in 1909 for Alfred Fripp and his wife Sallie Williams. Mr. Fripp was a merchant who built a store on the corner there in Bluffton. He sold general merchandise for many years until an out-of-control car damaged the building and it was demolished in 1980.
The Fripp’s daughter, H. O. Lowden, owned the home after them. It’s now owned by a lady that recently renovated it to be enjoyed for years to come. I think I’m drawn to this one because it reminds me so much of my own house.
