There are many unique old houses in the city of Brooksville, Florida. This one is known as “The Weeks House” or the “Old Yellow House”. It was built in 1882 by G. Gordy who was the owner of the local sawmill. Fitting as such, the home is made from heart of pine.
Its name came from the Weeks family who bought the home from Mr. Gordy and lived here for many generations. It’s been in two films including one called “The Clock”, which is a horror movie which is interesting because this home is supposedly haunted.
