Hitching Posts Still Out Front

The Newsom House in Fayetteville, Tennesee was built circa 1899. James L. Newsom was a traveling salesman and operated a dry goods store in the town square. He died at a young age of typhoid fever. His widow kept the home until leaving it to her son (by her second husband). The original horse hitching posts are still found on the propety. So neat!
