Bemis United Methodist Church was built in 1908 by J. M. Bemis. He was the founder of the Bemis Cotton Mill. This church was built with heavy Old English architecture (hello tudor!!) and with materials shipped in from Boston. On a personal note, my parents were married here and this was my first time visiting this adorable church.
