I’ve lived in Tennessee all my life but only recently discovered that Jonesborough is the oldest town in Tennessee. Established in 1779, it was a town before Tennessee even became a state. You can find homes dating as far back as the late 1700s here. This one here is more of a “spring chicken” having been built in the 1860s, but what a looker!
