This is the beautiful John Green Sims House in Wartrace, Tennessee. Gosh, I’m a sucker for Queen Annes. This home was built in 1884 for John Green Sims and his wife Mary. It’s believed to be a copy of a home that they both admired in Nashville. It maintains a lot of the original features including the walnut front door and decorative spindle work. It’s one of the most intact late nineteenth century homes in the area. It’s held a place on the National Register of Historic Places since 1987.
