Old Louisville Historic Home

Johnson Mason Maury (pictured) was an American architect who designed and built over 700 homes and buildings, mostly in Louisville. This may be the most interesting. It’s the only one that he did like it. I think he must have gotten a wild hair! That porch is said to be an exotic Moorish style.

It was built for George A. Newman in 1891.
