Just thinking back to this old beauty that I visited last year. I was under the impression that she would be torn down by now, but I have heard that she’s still standing. I’m sure her buttercups are blooming.
Built around 1885, there’s an ell in the back that may have been built much earlier. It was once an estate of about 170 acres (maybe more), but most of that has been dotted with new homes and modern development.
I thought the TV being there was so interesting. It’s lightyears ahead of the era of this home, but even it has been left behind. Juxtaposition I suppose.
