What a looker! This Greyhound Bus Station in Jackson, Tennessee was constructed in 1938 by Lawrence Taylor. He was president of the First National Bank and also served a term as Jackson’s mayor. It was designed with a rounded and streamlined look that was popular around that time because it suggested motion. It closed for functional use in 2018 after 80 years of continual service. It’s been featured in several films including one with Michelle Pfieffer in the 70s. Though it’s no longer the bus station hub of city, it has been preserved and remains an iconic part of the city of Jackson!
