Circa 1903, the Byrn-Roberts House was built for Charles and Alabama Byrn and designed by Nashville’s Thomas J. Moore. It stayed in the Bryn family for over 90 years and then was bought by a couple who turned it into a bed and breakfast. I believe it’s now a private residence. I had the opportunity to see the inside of this beautiful home when it was an inn and I was blown away by the original details that were preserved. I’ve always considered this one of my favorites in the Boro!
