Hey there! I’m Amy, the face behind Pretty Old Places. I embarked on this adventure to capture the beauty of historic homes and places, all while trying not to trip over my own two feet.
I started this platform with pretty low expectations, thinking it would be nothing more than a scrapbook of my favorite old houses. Turns out, there’s a whole community of folks out there who are just as obsessed with old houses as I am. Who knew?
So, here I am, standing in front of each magnificent house, trying not to drool all over the sidewalk. I take all of the pictures you see here on Pretty Old Places.
My mission? To give these old houses and buildings a voice and let them share their stories with the world. These homes are full of stories to tell! So join me on this journey as I uncover the grandeur of Main Street America along with the hidden gems of forgotten backroads.
