Decatur’s Shadowlawn

Historic Bibb House in Decatur
The Bibb House in Decatur, Alabama was built in 1892. I’m not sure who built the home, but William Bibb (the grandson of Alabama’s first governor) bought the house at an auction for $2,500 in 1895. This was a favorite of mine when I took a stroll through Decatur!
