Midway’s Piper House
Check out this little gothic cottage in Midway. It’s called the Piper House and was built in 1849. The porch used to go all the way across. Where you see the discolored bricks is where the columns for the porch came down. I’m not sure when those changes were made, but it’s still so beautiful!

It’s a SHOWSTOPPER y’all. Wincoma was built in 1871 by David Lehman. It’s been called “the finest board-and-batten house in central Kentucky”. It was built for Dr. Marcus Poynter who was local physician. Since 1924, four judges have lived in this home.
