The Dudley Evans Residence was built in 1880 in Russellville. It was built by a prominent businessman named Thomas Evans for his son, Dudley Evans. (Hence the nameย ) Probably one of my favorite houses of all time.

I think this may be my first Kentucky house feature! This one is located in Adairville, Kentucky and was built in 1901. It’s home and studio to an artist named Charles Brindley. He works out of several old Victorians in this little town. I always love a good turret!

Cathedral of the Assumption – Louisville, KY
Located in Louisville, the Cathedral of the Assumption was constructed in 1852 and the main tower and steeple (a steep 287 feet high) were completed in 1858. The cost? $80,000.
