New Orleans Victorian House
This old house is located on Eighth Street in New Orleans. While I don’t know it’s build date, I would imagine late 1800s or early 1900s. It has 12-foot ceilings and was sold a couple of years ago. What a beauty!

1880s Esplanade Ave Home
This bright beauty is one of three old girls right in a row on Esplanade Avenue in New Orleans. All three were built in the 1880s by Julius Weiss. Though he built them, he never lived in them. This is now La Belle Esplanade, a boutique bed and breakfast since 2012. You can check out…

Historic Nola Home Once Belonged to Archie Manning
I personally refer to this one as “the wavy glass” house. If you look closely, those windows are just a waving all around and I adore them!โฃโฃWhen researching this one, I couldn’t find a build date, but it’s on the National Register as part of the Garden District Historic District. โฃโฃI did discover an interesting…

Beautiful Old New Orleans Home
New Orleans is absolutely full of pretty old places. While it has houses with many of my favorite features, a couple that I can always count on seeing here is #1 – skinny windows and #2 – wavy glass! I’m not sure what it is about those things, but they get me every time. What…

Saint Charles Avenue Home
Built in 1873, this gorgeous Saint Charles Avenue house is nothing short of gorgeous. This home has been divided into condos over the years. One of them sold back in 2015 and while the entire place is beautiful, I grabbed the picture of the kitchen from the previous real estate listing because I can’t get…

1870s New Orleans Double
Here’s a sweet little New Orleans double that was built in the 1870s. It’s been well-kept all these years. It’s hard to tell, but those top windows are stained glass. I don’t know if I love the brick sidewalk or that beautiful tree more!โฃโฃ
