Historic Bibb House in Decatur
The Bibb House in Decatur, Alabama was built in 1892. I’m not sure who built the home, but William Bibb (the grandson of Alabama’s first governor) bought the house at an auction for $2,500 in 1895. This was a favorite of mine when I took a stroll through Decatur!

Historic Athens House
The T. E. Gilbert House in Athens was built in 1908. Gilbert owned the drugstore. I think my favorite thing about this house is the transom over the front door. I have a thiiiiiing for transoms. What do you like about this one?
