I think I mention this house at least once a year. It’s a favorite to say the least! The Wilkes-Baird Home, in Columbia, was built in 1885. The owners told me that the next two homes beside this one were built by the same family and that three sisters lived in a row!

The Brownlow House – Columbia
This Victorian is known as the Brownlow House and was built in 1890. It’s located in Columbia, Tennessee and contributes to the West Sixth Street and Mayes Place Historic District. It’s a beautiful teal color these days, but looks like it was a deep gray before. Which color do you prefer?

Hardin-Figuers House, Columbia
This one has always caught my eye when driving through Columbia’s historic neighborhoods. Tall and skinny. Simple, but detailed. The Hardin-Figuers House was built in the 1880s for a narrow lot. It’s a side hall plan and inside has a spiral staircase! It contributes to the West Sixth Street Historic District.
