House Was Wedding Gift
What a wedding gift! Built by James H. Dosser for his daughter Mary M. Dosser and her new husband Isaac E. Reeves. This Italianate Villa was built in 1877 after the two were wed in 1876. Reeves was a very prominent lawyer in Jonesborough. Why don’t people build homes as wedding gifts anymore?

Beautiful in blue! This one is commonly known as “The Outlaw House” and was built in 1820 in Jonesborough, Tennessee. A portion of the original log structure remains. It’s said that this may have been an Indian Trading Post.
